Getting started

Your first hours of play, step by step: economy, first engineers, first ship and first colony.

Your first hours, step by step

1

Start your four mines

Upgrade your four mines at the same time: Titanium, Graphene, Silicon, Hydrogen. They produce continuously, even while you are away. You can queue several upgrades. Learn more β†’

2

Build the Barracks and train engineers

The Barracks trains your populations. Aim for engineers first: they speed up all your constructions. It is the most profitable investment in the long run. Learn more β†’

3

Start your first research

Technologies are researched in the Laboratory. Start with the ones that improve your mines' yield: the gain is immediate and permanent. Learn more β†’

4

Design your first ship

Pick a size, then install at least a generator (energy), an engine and a weapon. The space left over becomes a cargo hold for transporting resources. Learn more β†’

5

Explore the map

Spot free planets, AI planets and asteroids. AI planets are a good target to progress early on. Learn more β†’

6

Colonize a second planet

Send a fleet on a Colonization mission to a free planet, with the required resources and populations. Each planet has its own production bonuses: owning several multiplies your economy. Learn more β†’

7

Follow your objectives

In-game objectives tell you what to do next and reward every milestone you reach.

Three habits to pick up from the start

πŸ›‘οΈ Docked ships are safe ships

By default, a ship parked on a planet does not defend it: it is therefore safe from attacks. Learn more β†’

πŸ•΅οΈ Spy before you attack

Knowing your target's defenses and protections lets you pick the right weapons. Learn more β†’

🌴 Away for several days?

Vacation mode pauses your account: nobody can attack you. Learn more β†’
